[pub street, siem reap, cambodia. circa dec '08]I feel like this tuk-tuk driver. Currently not moving but not wasting time either.
Minutes, hours and days just zipped by me. I'm finally freed from that godforsaken place. Now I find myself with a lot of hours in my hands that can be filled with ANYTHING I WANT. Well...almost.
While it's nice and all, I really don't want to get stuck on 2nd gear boredom. It's time I write down a list of things I've been procrastinating, holding off on, but have really wanted to do, and NOW is the time to do it. Like spring cleaning my room, for example, yea I'm talking bout little things I've been putting on the backburner. Not the I'm-going-to-change-the-world sort just yet. Everything starts with a clean, tidy room.
Currently busying myself with writing articles (thanks for the gig but more money would be nice. *NUDGE NUDGE*) heh. On top of applying and waiting for a permanent job. I've decided. I want to be a writer. Easier said than done but just saying it first means I'm on the road to getting it done. So cheer me on, ok?
Now where's that list of To-Have-Been-Done-Awhile-Ago-But-Never-Had-The-Time:
1) Spring clean my room
2) Sell off / donate / give away stuff I find that I don't need
3) cont'd from above: sell off / donate / give away some books and CDs
4) go out and take random pictures with my certo phot / polaroid cameras
5) finish learning "mad world" on guitar
6) revamp / re-conceptualize / re-think
http://musicplague.blogspot.com7) Hit the gym / sauna / swimming pool
8) Volunteer my writing services to some youth-oriented sites, even if it's pro bono
9) Catch up on episodes of "United States of Tara" / "Big Bang Theory" season 3!!
10) SHOP THE F*CK OFF! sorry it's been awhile since I reallyreallyreallyreally shopped my ass off. Been holding it in so bad.
Hit me up if you're free, yes you and you and you. We can do lunch, tea break, dinner, maybe supper, drinks? shopping?? maybe baby.
Looks like I'm gonna be busy with that list but I'm working on a highly flexible schedule, so you can always be slotted in, anytime.
Please don't let the minutes, hours and days zip past you without you even pausing to realize how much time has passed and what you have done. Make em count! Even if for a second you decided to stop reading this blog post halfway thinking it's a waste of your time and decide to make yourself a cup of coffee instead.
I hope you enjoyed every sip!
